Three Long Years is about a man who gets dumped by his more-successful girlfriend, his obsession with her leading to a succession of disastrous relationships with women, and bizarre personal setbacks culminating in an eventual car wreck. Upon awaking in a hospital, he finds a nurse (played by Randy) has been charged with keeping him conscious throughout the night, and takes the opportunity to tell the story of his three years of unraveling.
